The Ashland New Year's Eve show just got even cooler since the annual free party will start at 9 p.m., with the unveiling of the new Hannah Montana exhibit inside the Museum's Country Music Heritage Hall at the Highlands Museum and Discovery Center that includes stars of The Country Music Highway.

Miley Cyrus, otherwise known as Miley Stewart, alias Hannah Montana, a character on Disney Channel's popular show, donated a special New Year's outfit, the same one she will wear during her own 2006 New Year's Eve special.

Following the opening, the New Year's Eve Celebration, sponsored by the City of Ashland, will continue until midnight with music from ETA and Stephen Salyers. At midnight, the celebration moves outdoors to neighboring Judd Plaza for the traditional New Year's ball drop.
